Herdley O. Paolini, PhD., LP.
Director
Dr. Paolini is a licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of experience in the counseling field. For the past seven years she has been the director of Physician Support Services – a hospital based practice she designed specifically to attend to the development and wellness of physicians.
She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She has thought at Andrews University, Western Michigan University, and Palm Beach Atlantic University.
She is the author of ‘Inside the Mind of a Physician,’ which focuses on understanding physicians and their world through the lenses of their personality characteristics, their training, and the current culture and environment of medicine practice.

Shawn Zimmerman, PhD. Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Dr. Zimmerman is a psychologist graduated from Andrew University with a PhD in Counseling Psychology, and has a over 15 years of couples counseling experience. He currently provides individual and couples counseling therapy, and whole person meaning programs for Florida Hospital physicians and their families.
Sheila M. Granados Administrative Assistant
She is serving in a wide range of secretarial duties. Sheila is bilingual and has cross-cultural communication skills that facilitate the operation of the department.
Prior to joining PSS, Sheila was the administrative assistant during five years at ABTC at Fuller Theological Seminary in California. She has also had extensive managerial experience in the banking industry, having served as assistant vice-president of First Bank of Puerto Rico.
Burt Bertram, Ed.D
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Dr. Burt Bertram is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. In addition to individual and group counseling, Dr. Bertram specializes in addressing the relationship complexities of couples, families, and work associates. He has beeen in practice in the Orlando area for more than 35 years. Burt Bertram has been an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Studies in Counseling program at Rollins College for nearly twenty years, where he has tought and mentored a generation of practicing counselors in Central Florida.
An expert on ethical issues in counseling, Burt Bertram is co-author of The Counselor and the Law: A Guide to Legal and Ethical Practice, published by the American Counseling Association. He has served as President of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, and the Central Florida Association for Marraige and Family Therapy.
Dr. Bertram earned his doctorate (Ed.D) in counseling from the University of Florida and a Master's degress in counseling from the University of Central Florida.
